Beating the odds when others least expect it!

Told by others and doctors that your life is going to be very limited because you have a disability. Being told you would never be able to do the things that other kids do, such as playing sports, running and playing, but somehow, someway you manage to prove them wrong and beat the odds anyhow. Being told as you cross over into adulthood you'll never drive a car, and told you will have to rely on others to do for you, but yet once again you've beaten the odds, taking care of yourself, even doing for yourself.
